The retreat is designed to take you on a journey of exploration into yourself and what masculinity and brotherhood mean to you. The retreat format means that everything is optional - you can choose to drop into an offering or spend time relaxing, reflecting and exploring the surrounding nature by yourself.
Every morning we offer yoga and meditation. The days then provide a structured variety of workshops, group work, free time, as well as modalities to bring you into your body and out of your mind. We finish most evenings sitting in circle and exploring various themes together.
Join us on the coastline of Southern Denmark, close to Flensburg on the German border.
Instructions will be offered in English and German.
WHY A MEN'S RETREAT?
What does it mean to be a man today? What does it mean to be you? What does brotherhood mean to you? What is important and how do we deal with the ambitions as well as the struggles that we carry?
Many of us have grown up among very mixed signals and answers to those questions. Many of them unhealthy, that may have lead to states of inner conflict, competition, carelessness, depression and loneliness.
We have created this Men’s Retreat to invite an exploration of healthier answers and expressions to those questions. We see that when men come together - in circle - a space is opened from where depth, honesty and integrity grows. The circle invites us to explore, to share and to learn from each other. It guides us to ways of being more authentic - with ourselves and in our different roles; as partners, fathers, friends and colleagues.
The retreat provides a space to think, reflect, connect and experience. To drop the outdated roles, and lean into something unknown. When you feel healthier with yourself, we believe something positive starts to spread from within and into your life.
Taking part in this men’s retreat is something you do for yourself, but also something you do for those you love and care about. It’s not a quick fix - it’s a stir in the pot, from where something unexpected may start to appear
